ETOPIM12 will run as an hybrid conference, both on-site and on-line.

The local venue is the École Nationale Supérieure de Mécanique et des Microtechniques (ENSMM), located 26, rue de l'épitaphe in Besançon, France. Please note that this engineering school has changed name very recently and is now officially known as Supmicrotech!

When looking for the location on Google Maps use for instance "Supmicrotech, Rue de l'Épitaphe, Besançon". Or enter the Plus Code: 7X2V+FC Besançon. Presentations will be given in 'Amphitéatre Emile du Chatelet', located right after the main entrance.

The ENSMM (or Supmicrotech) is located on the Bouloie campus of the University. It can be reached from the city center by bus, lines L3 (to U-Sport bus stop) or L6 (to TEMIS bus station). We strongly advise participants to book a hotel in the city center, so that they can enjoy the commodities there, and to reach the conference venue by bus. Count 20 to 30 minutes for the total bus ride plus walking.

Bus schedules on Google Maps are reliable. The local bus system is called Ginko. The Android or iOS app is called Ginko Mobilités.

With your on-site registration, you will be offered up to 10 bus tickets; please request them at the registration desk. The price for a single fare is 1.40€ and the ticket is valid for one hour, including transit (with other buses or the tramway). You can buy tickets on the bus (provide the exact fare price), at ticket machines, or you can pay in the bus using a credit card (Visa or Mastercard with contactless payment, Google Pay, Apple Pay ou Samsung Pay). Note that the tramway does not go the venue.

If you are ready to walk, it takes about 35 to 45 minutes walking from hotels in the city center to the conference venue.

If you need to park your car, you can do it for free by entering ENSMM, driving straight ahead and taking the first right. Just park anywhere here, the academic year is over and students have mostly vanished.
